The Problem
Pizza Hut was working with one of the largest processing and technology providers in the world, but wanted to upgrade its outdated EPoS and card terminals. It also knew that once its restaurants reopened after lockdown, it would need to offer something different to keep customers and staff safe. Its payment provider, despite being an industry leader, was unable to adapt fast enough.

Connecting With Swipen
Along with our partner, Adactus, Swipen created an order and pay at table solution, where eat-in customers can peruse an online menu, and then order and pay their bill at the table using their mobile phone.
With the addition of Apple Pay and Google Pay for online transactions through Swipen’s e-commerce gateway, this brand new concept caught the attention of Pizza Hut.

Pizza Hut awarded the contract to Swipen because we could provide a completely tailored solution, quickly and efficiently, designed and built for Pizza Hut. We launched their ordering site in July 2020.
Apple Pay adds tremendous value to the online checkout experience and Pizza Hut chose Swipen as they were the only company to have the expertise needed to deliver what we wanted.
