We are very excited to be ending the year having won two awards last night! We won the Payments Start Up of the Year and the Marketing Campaign of the Year for 2021.
We headed off to London last night for the glamorous Payments Awards ceremony in Grosvenor Square, joining a sea of bow ties and cocktail dresses under the twinkling chandeliers. It’s always a treat to see your colleagues dressed up like James Bond!
The Payments Awards recognise and celebrate companies that have demonstrated excellence and innovation in the payments space. The winners are chosen by experienced and leading professionals within the payments sector, and so to be chosen as the winner for both the awards for which we were shortlisted is an honour.
Swipen was founded just two and a half years ago and along with our partners, our team has worked tirelessly to build an advanced e-commerce system and provide the best service. These awards also saw us up against some big players in the industry. “To receive recognition and appreciation by winning these two awards is a real compliment,” says Fraser Mitchell, Managing Director for Swipen.
We enjoyed meeting other nominees and winners at the ceremony and want to congratulate everyone there for all the great work being done within our industry. Many thanks to the Payments Awards organisers and the Marriott Hotel for a great evening.
